Wilson Betemit is a young and talented multipurpose infielder who has played for the Atlanta Braves, Los Angeles Dodgers and New York Yankees. The Yankees, in the heat of a pennant race, acquired Betemit from the Dodgers on July 31, 2007, in exchange for Scott Proctor. Betemit made an immediate impression on fans and teammates alike when, in his first at-bat on August 2, 2007, at Yankee Stadium, he crushed a three-run home run and was honored with a curtain call. Wilson Betemit has hand signed this 8x10 photograph of him hitting that memorable home run, which occurred in the second inning of a game against the Chicago White Sox.
