Ron Darling spent 14 years as a Major League Baseball pitcher, compiling a respectable 136-116 record with a career 3.87 ERA and 1,590 strikeouts. But those figures do not do Darling justice. He joined the New York Mets in 1983 and played a pivotal role in the team's evolution from cellar dwellers to World Champions. During the team's legendary 1986 season, Darling went 15-6 with a 2.81 ERA, and in the World Series against the Boston Red Sox, he was 1-1 with a 1.53 ERA. These days, Darling is a Mets color commentator. Ron Darling has hand signed this official MLB baseball, which comes complete with a Steiner Sports Certificate of Authenticity.
