Jeff Karstens Autographed Baseball
Right-handed pitcher Jeff Karstens was drafted in the 19th round of the 2003 Amateur Draft by the New York Yankees and quickly ascended the food chain. He started the 2005 season in Trenton, with the Bombers' Double-A affiliate, the Thunder, and kicked off 2006 with the team's Triple-A affiliate, the Columbus Clippers. Karstens made his Major League debut for the Yankees on August 22, 2006, in a game against the Seattle Mariners, and he earned his first win on August 27, 2006, as the Yanks bested the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim by a score of 11-8.
