Bucky Dent & Mike Torrez Dual Signed Baseball
Bucky Dent won the first of his two World Series rings with the Yankees in 1977, but he really earned his bling in 1978. On October 2, 1978, in a now-legendary tie-breaker between the Yankees and the Red Sox at Fenway Park, Dent clinched the American League pennant for the Yanks by bashing a home run over the Green Monster. Then, in the World Series against the Dodgers, Dent played his typically fine defense at shortstop and batted .417, with 10 hits and seven RBI, helping lead the Bombers to their second consecutive championship and winning 1978 WS MVP honors for himself. Bucky Dent and Mike Torrez have each hand signed this official MLB baseball, which comes complete with a Steiner Sports Certificate of Authenticity.
