Javier Vazquez Autographed Yankees Debut 16x20 Photograph
Since none of the heroes from the 2003 season were available to start Opening Day at Yankee Stadium, it was up to the new kid in town to christen the 2004 season. The Yankees pegged Javier Vazquez with this duty, and he shined, pitching eight innings, allowing one run on three hits, while striking out five. After five stellar seasons in Montreal, Vazquez was a staple in the Yankees rotation before being traded to the Diamondbacks in the deal that brought Randy Johnson to the Yankees. Javier Vazquez has hand signed this 16X20 photograph of him in Yankees pinstripes debut. A Steiner Sports certificate of authenticity is included.
